In this spirit, we are excited to launch our New Voters Awareness Program, designed to educate and inspire first-time voters, especially the youth, about the importance of participating in elections and making their voices heard.
Why the New Voters Awareness Program?
India is the world’s largest democracy, and each election, big or small, carries immense significance. However, many first-time voters, especially those between the ages of 18 to 25, often face challenges in understanding the voting process, the candidates, and the policies that can impact their future. Through this program, ITA aims to bridge that gap and empower new voters to make informed decisions.
Our New Voters Awareness Program will be delivered through:
- Workshops and Webinars: Interactive sessions featuring experts, election commission officials, and youth leaders to discuss the importance of voting and how to vote responsibly.
- Digital Campaigns: Social media posts, videos, and infographics aimed at simplifying the voting process and highlighting the impact of young voters in elections.
- On-Ground Activities: Street plays, flash mobs, and door-to-door campaigns in local communities to directly engage with young voters and address their concerns.
